Drone is all around us, also we familiar already with this name we even can buy and fly it by our self. But how if you could fly more than one drone and control it on your own? that will be bring you to the next level of flying drone.

Lego Drone Controller

This project using Lego as the controller board which to control drones by moving your hand left, right, up and down then the drone will automatically follows your board direction. It works almost same as when you rotate your smartphone to landscape screen mode, it using gyroscope sensor to decide how drone will fly. Every single drone synchronize one each other, so they won’t collide with each other. Using cubed-box surrounding to drone to protect if one time error happens and drone crashed.

Lego’s creative play lab joined forces with the human media lab at Canada’s queen’s university and the result is sheer magic. Guest at Lego expo in Copenhagen, Denmark to try the models. They create they own drone controller and directed a drone group in real time. Each Lego Block Corresponds to an individual Drone and the pattern on the controller can be arranged in any way.
